Best Travel Practices

Laura and I are on day 11 of a 21 day speaking road trip speaking at State Conferences for;

  • NAIFA Indiana – June 6-7
  • NAIFA Florida – June 15-17
  • NAIFA Illinois – June 22-23

In the midst of the travel and speaking days we are working via telephone with our clients and having some fun along the way. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing the Broadway Musical Finding Neverland at the Dr. Phillips Center Of The Performing Arts in Orlando.

This blog is brief as I am putting the finishing touches on 4 PowerPoint Presentations for NAIFA Florida. Why bring in one speaker when you can get four for the price of one?

  1. Magnify Your Association & Business, Passion, Vision, Purpose &Mission-Clear Your Road blocks to count for cooling More Advisors, Agents, Clients & Members – 4 hours
  2. The Inspirational Tipping Point – 1 hour
  3.  The One Page Business Plan – 1 hour
  4.  7 Actions To Take Now To Meet And Exceed Your Goals – 1 hour

Delivering a total of 10 PowerPoint Presentations over 16 hours at these NAIFA State Conferences creates the opportunity to add value and gain more experience, polish and practice.

Clients and friends ask; “How do you handle the travel?”

Through routine; a sequence of actions, plans, practices, procedures, programs are regularly followed.

Routines like; affirmations, cardio, conscious breathing, healthy eating, meditation, prayer, sleep, yoga – and no over thinking.

And not to be forgotten; giving thanks. Thank you Laura Reilly for your love and support; without your love and support, what we are doing would not be possible.

Depending on my approach, traveling rewards with assistance and resistance.

“Avoid resistance at all cost. Resistance is an all-encompassing term for what Freud called Death Wish. Resistance cannot be reasoned with. It understands one thing. Power. Resistance takes on the form of drugs, shopping, TV, gossip, alcohol, drugs, and the consumption of all products containing alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, fat, salt and sugar. The greatest danger is Resistance knows when the finish line is in site and it will throw out one final assault.” – Steven Pressfield – The War Of Art
