Welcome to the March 2008 edition of Removing Your Roadblocks To Success.
This edition is entitled and includes an article and audio that you can download called “How To Thrive In A Recession” and it includes a brand new program that we are offering called The Circuit.
Whatever you want to call it whether it be a slowdown, a debacle, a sluggish market … we are in it and what the hell, we might as well call it a recession … there I’ve said it, recession, recession, recession … and now I’m over it.
I was brought up Catholic and my parents saw to it that I went to a Catholic school where I was taught by priests and nuns for the most part and I was also an alter boy. Catholicism talks about the notion of limbo which is a place somewhere between heaven and hell.
When we talk about a slowdown, a debacle, a sluggish market and that we “could” be heading for a US Recession it keeps us in a state of limbo waiting around doing nothing and watching to see what the other person is going to do.
To me that is hell. Ok, we are in hell and we are in a US recession that started last August so I recon that at the end of March we are 7 months into it. Past recessions have lasted 6 - 18 months so the worst case is we are about half way there of being out of it.
So let’s get on with it. I like the expression “if it is going to be it is up to me”.
What are you going to do to differentiate yourself in this new market?

Are you coming from a place of Fear or Strength?
So my challenge to you is do something that scares the hell out of you and I invite you to do something absolutely different and join me in The Circuit.
So in walking my talk, after writing the “How To Thrive In A Recession” article for this E-Newsletter early one morning and given that I was scheduled to do a presentation for Pro-Seminars in Vancouver I decided to deliver the article as my speaking presentation … no power point, no rehearsal, no nothing just let it rip.
